Hey guys I was just seeing what everyone wants to do for our lesson plan 2 which involves data. I was thinking we could do something with math. I was thinking about doing measurements. Maybe someone could do prices or something along that line? Let me know what you guys think!
I changed my lesson plan idea to what is the students favorite type of cupcake because I thought it would be easier to collect data.

ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea! I was also thinking having them collect data on what type of cupcakes sold the most versus which which did not. They could create bar graphs.

ReplyDeleteI thought that it was an individual assignment also. Anyways for my lesson 2, I am planning on having the students compare and contrast the amount of sales when the price is changed. One day they could sell brownies for 50 cents and chocolate chip cookies for 25 cents and record the amount of sales made. The next day they could charge 25 cents for brownies and 50 cents for chocolate chip cookies and see if there is any difference in the sales for each item.
ReplyDeleteFor the podcast we each pick a topic to talk about so we could choose the same thing we did for our digital story if we wanted and talk about it. And then we put them all together.
ReplyDeleteI think my topic for the podcast is going to be on food allergies. I can talk about the progress we have done under this concept. I could include and talk about the digital story, Mallory you have done, and discuss about our progress on this concept. I will follow up on Mallory's topic.

ReplyDeleteYeah, I understand what you mean I say umm too! But okay so as I am working on this script and I had a change of mind. I think I am going to go back to the first concept I did. Before the Bake Sale, like the process we have to take before we start the bake sale, etc. Hopefully I get it done tonight!
