We each need to find 3 web sites that will help us with our project.
I have found this web site so far. I will be evaluating this web site, as it will help with my first lesson plan.

Remember we need to use the form "Intel Evaluating Internet Resource Questionnaire" found in Module 3 for our web sites.
Here are my three web sites:

2. http://www.schoolbakesales.com/
3. http://bakesaleflyers.com/
These will all give the students ideas for the flyers/posters they will be creating in lesson plan 1.
I will look for my websites as soon as I come up with an idea for a lesson plan. So should I be doing a different concept than yours? Since you are focusing on what a bake sale is and what not, could I do a lesson on what you need to do before you start baking and talk about: finding out about food allergies, safety/rules, materials, etc.?? Do you think that would work as one lesson??
ReplyDeleteI think that would be great! Just make sure that the student are going to be researching something and then creating something. For instance, have them research what type of food allergies people can have and then have them create a powerpoint in groups to present to the whole class.
ReplyDeleteYou know what, I think that they "websites" is different then the "hot list." The websites I think are any credible, safe websites that will help and we will need for our project. And the "hot list" is a list of websites that are for our own individual lesson plans. We will be giving the student this "hot list" as references/guides to help them in what they will be researching and creating. I think that this is what is going on. Let me know if you think.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the ideas!! I'm going to start mine soon!! And I think that the websites are the three websites we need to include in our individual lesson plans which are the "hot-list" I think that is how i understood it, but we could ask Sharon to be safe.
ReplyDeleteI just read the instructions again and I think you were right, but couldn't we just use the websites we use for our hot list in our lesson plan for teh web evaluations? That way we aren't doing the same websites.
ReplyDeleteYour welcome!
ReplyDeleteYeah, i would think that we can, since it will help us with our overall project.

Those are the websites I used for the web evaluations. They go along with the lesson I am doing! :)
These all look like good websites. I am planning to focus my lesson on a recipe from another country that will go along with learning some history and geography about that country.

These are the three websites that I have found and would like to use for my lesson about Spain. I think the subject area that it will focus on is social studies and the grade level would be third or fourth. Does this sound alright, or should I choose something more basic for the first lesson.
Here are three websites that I have found for my lesson. I have tied it into social studies because students will be learning about the country of Spain and cooking a recipe from it. Does this sound alright or should I save this lesson for later and start with something more basic?
